Heroin recovered
On November 27, around 5.30 pm, Police, acting on input, intercepted a car (AS-01-AQ-7495) driven by Anton H Thangminliana at Mawiong View Point, Shillong, and recovered seized 14 soap cases containing 150.26 grams of suspected heroin.

Speakers stolen from car
Nirmal Kumar Ghosh lodged a complaint that on November 26, between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm, miscreants broke into his car (ML-05B-7143) which was parked near City Dhaba at Oakland, Shillong, and stole two speakers.

Fraud
Sweety Kharkongor lodged a complaint that on November 7, on seeing an advertisement in an online shopping App viz., Quikr.com, regarding sale of a dog by Cargo Pets Transportation Agency, she contacted the number provided and paid Rs 1,84,000 via net banking in the SBI Account in the name of Syntyche Meheune, and HDFC Account in the name of Anil Kumar Ram. However, till the filing of this report, the agency has not delivered the dog but the seller kept asking for more money.
