Police, Dorbar Shnong distribute blankets among villagers

NONGPOH, Dec 4: The personnel of 6th Meghalaya Police Battalion on Friday, as part of its initiative ‘Reaching Out – Beyond The Call of Duty’, distributed blankets among locals at Umran Dairy village, Ri Bhoi.
According to a statement, the Dorbar Shnong led by the Rangbah Shnong along with the secretary and members also took part in the programme.
Inspired by the Meghalaya Police, the Dorbar Shnong also took its initiative to distribute blankets to the villagers.
While the MLP personnel distributed 50 blankets, the Dorbar Shnong arranged 100 more blankets for the villagers.
