SHILLONG, Dec 7: Chairman of Meghalaya State Planning Board and local legislator of Nongkrem Constituency, Lambor Malngiang, on Monday, inaugurated the Community Hall of Mawtharia Village in Pomlakrai in the presence of PT Passah, Mylliem BDO.
The Community Hall was constructed under Special Rural Works Programme (SWRP) 2019-2020.
Speaking on the occasion, Malngaing acknowledged that Mawtharia has long been neglected even as he informed that many developmental activities such as installation of street lights, Greater Pomlakrai Water Supply Scheme, construction of a school building etc, are being initiated and work will commence following finalisation of the proposals.
