State records fewer cases

SHILLONG, Dec 27: Meghalaya reported a low of five new COVID-19 cases which took the caseload to 13,376. The state has been recording fewer cases daily over the past few days.
Moreover, recoveries surged to more than 13,000 with 27 persons recuperating from the disease as on Sunday.
The number of active cases has also seen a decline in the state with the figure as on Sunday standing at 226.
