KHLIEHRIAT, Jan 5: The Deputy Commissioner of East Jaintia Hills has declared January 11 as a district holiday on account of the Nul Ding Kut Festival or the festival for renewal of life, which is celebrated annually by the Biate community of Saipung area.
All government offices, Magisterial Courts will remain closed in the district.
