JOWAI, Jan 10: The house of one Le Phawa of Mihmyntdu village was gutted on Saturday midnight.
Soon after the fire, two firefighters rushed in to the spot to control the fire, sources said. However, the house was completely damaged and the loss could not be ascertained at the time of filing of this report. However, no lives were lost in the mishap. Jowai Police are investigating the cause of the fire. However, short circuit has been suspected to become the reason behind the fire.
