Retiring NEEPCO employees receive pension papers from EPFO

SHIILLONG, Feb 3: As part of the ‘PRAYAAS’ initiative, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Shillong, under the EPFO, Zonal Office, NER, Guwahati, handed over pension papers to various retiring employees of NEEPCO Ltd, Shillong, on the date of superannuation (i.e. attaining 58 years of age).
In a statement, KK Srivastava, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Shillong, informed that the EPFO are conducting webinars, through which various retiring employees have been asked to submit their pension claims at least two months before their superannuation to enable the office to hand over pension papers to various staff on date of superannuation.
