Awareness-cum-blood donation camp in WJH

JOWAI, Feb 4: The North East Adventist University (NEAU), on Thursday, organised an awareness-cum-blood donation camp at the University campus in Khliehtyrshi, West Jaintia Hills.
A medical team, led by Dr P Shylla from Jowai Civil Hospital Blood Bank, Panaliar, undertook the clinical activities.
AS many as 39 donors were registered out of which, 19 donated which included 16 male and three female.
Dr Shylla, senior doctor in charge of Blood Bank Civil Hospital Jowai, in her speech, enlightened students on the importance and benefit of donating blood while also appreciating the Adventist youths of the University for their continuous support and cooperation.
Others who were present during the awareness programme and blood donation drive include Dr P Bhaggien, Vice Chancellor of NEAU, and its staff and students.
