SHILLONG, Feb 9: With more than 1,300 being inoculated on Tuesday, the Meghalaya government vaccinated the largest chunk of its health workers with COVID-19 vaccine.
A total of 1,343 health workers were vaccinated on Tuesday in 33 sessions.
Altogether nine districts participated in the vaccination drive, while the percentage of achievement against the target for the day was 63.14 per cent.
With this, the total number of health workers vaccinated so far is 9,005.
Meanwhile, seven more COVID-19 cases and four recoveries were reported on Tuesday, DHS (MI) Dr Aman War said.
With this, the state’s COVID tally stood at 13,893 with 137 active cases.
