SHILLONG: Renowned sociologist, Dr A K Nongkynrih of North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) passed away on Saturday morning at Bethany Hospital here.
He has written a number of books in Khasi and English as well as contributed a lot to many government projects and committees in Meghalaya. His demise is a great loss to the State.
