MAWKYRWAT, March 29: In denunciation against the assault of three youths from Wahkaji in South West Khasi Hills and the subsequent death of one of the boys recently, Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement, (Kur Myrthong) Myrthong Clan and the traditional heads of Umdohlun-Wahkaji area, South West Khasi Hills, have decided to organise a public rally-cum-condemnation meeting at Umdohlun Market on Wednesday.
Providing details about the programme, general secretary of HYC, Moonkingstar Paliar, said that the objective of the public rally is to condemn the Golf Links incident where three youths from Wahkaji area were beaten by unidentified persons on March 21. One of the youths, Phershanroy Myrthong, had succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning
