Contraband seized
Shimpor L Nonglait lodged a complaint that on April 26 around 8 pm, acting on inputs that one Ricky Kharbani was peddling drugs, VDP members of Mawkhlam village, West Khasi Hills, apprehended him and informed the police accordingly. Later, during while searching Kharbani’s house, police recovered 0.73 grams of suspected heroin.

Sahajahan Islam Sarkar lodged a complaint that on April 15 at about 9.30 pm, a group of unidentified persons vandalised one Mahindra Scorpio vehicle (ML-05S-1976) belonging to his uncle, at Bholarbhita West Garo Hills.
