Infant’s body recovered from Wahumkhrah

SHILLONG, May 7: The body of a male baby was recovered in a decomposed state from Wahumkhrah, Mawlai Nongpdeng Block C, on May 4, the police said in a statement issued here on Friday. It is suspected that the body is of a newborn.
The body is kept at the Civil Hospital Morgue for identification and claiming after completing legal formalities, the police said. All concerned have been asked to contact 22222y14/2222215.
