SHILLONG, May 8: The state president of Minority Morcha of BJP, Mominul Islam, has resigned from his post, alleging injustice meted out to him.
In his resignation letter to the state party president, Islam denied the allegations that he was working for the NPP in the recently concluded GHADC elections.
Stating that the complaints against him are baseless, he said despite working for the party in Phulbari constituency for last three years, the ticket in the recent elections was given to Fozibor Rahman to contest from Shyamanagar constituency.
