SWKH police nab duo for theft

MAWKYRWAT, May 19: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons allegedly involved in stealing from a shop in Mawkyrwat market recently.
According to the shop owner, Darity Jyrwa, the items that were stolen include 15 umbrellas and some bakery items, amounting to around Rs 9,000.
Although her shop was closed when the theft took place, Darity was intimated about the incident by a woman who is an adjacent shop owner.
It was following this Darity filed a complaint with Mawkyrwat Police Station.
Police, on the other hand, informed that after the FIR was filed, an investigation was conducted and the accused were hunted down on Tuesday afternoon and some of the items were recovered.
However, the police have not revealed the name of the accused during the filing of this report.
