Health session for MLP officials

SHILLONG, May 28: Meghalaya Police on Friday organised a digital health session on ‘How to tackle COVID-19’ for the officials of the department. Accoridng to a statement, the session, which was held virtually, was attended by DGP R Chandranathan as the chief guest and Principal Director-Haematology, Haemato Oncology & BMT, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, Dr. Rahul Bhargava, as the main speaker.
“The informative webinar was organised with an aim to enlighten the officials regarding the health procedures that have to be followed by frontline workers during the pandemic, and on the importance of vaccination,” the statement said.
Also, the webinar not only addressed the issues faced by officials on duty but also dispelled rumours on COVID-19 vaccination.
