SHILLONG, July 7: The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has endorsed the demand for removal of James Sangma from the power portfolio, saying that it would pave way for a free and fair inquiry but at the same time the party has left it to the wisdom of the Chief Minister to take a call on the matter.
Reacting to the growing demands for removal of James from the Power department, HSPDP President, KP Pangniang said, “The demand is genuine but it is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to take a final call on the matter.”
