World Hepatitis Day observed in Jowai

JOWAI, July 28: The office of the District Medical & Health Officer (DM&HO), Jowai, observed World Hepatitis Day at Jowai District Jail on Wednesday.
Thematised on ‘Hepatitis Can’t Wait’, the programme also witnessed health screening and medical checkup for the intimates.
Dr A Hinge, medical specialist, Jowai Civil Hospital Ialong, informed that the day is observed every year to raise awareness on Hepatitis.
The programme was attended by Dr E Challam, Additional DMHO-cum-Nodal Officer among others.
