PDS quota
The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that rice under PMGKAY for NFSA households (AAY and PHH) for September is being released through fair price shops and will be distributed free of cost at the scale of 5 kgs per head. “All fair price shops are to distribute the quota as soon as the stock arrives,” a statement in this regard said.
The West Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that distribution of AAY, PHH and non-NFSA for September are being released to all wholesalers for doorstep delivery. “At the same time, release of AAY & PHH (rice) under PMGKAY against September 2021 quota will be released w.e.f. 2nd September 2021 to 15 September 2021,” a statement in this regard said.

The Education Department will organise a programme to celebrate Teachers’ Day at 11 am on Monday at the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides Headquarter.
