Body found in SWKH village

MAWKYRWAT, Oct 4: A body was found in Siejiong jungle under Pawphlang village of South West Khasi Hills, which is about 1-2 hours walk away from the village. The deceased has been identified as Ribatson Lyngdoh of Pawphlang village.
Relatives of Lyngdoh, who found his body, said that he had been missing for two weeks.
Police sources have informed that the body was found in a decomposed state. A medical team from Mawthawpdah PHC, on Sunday, along with police visited the area to conduct an investigation.
After necessary formalities, the cadaver was handed over to the relatives to perform the last rites.
