Shops in city to open till 8 pm from today

SHILLONG, Oct 8: With Meghalaya continuing to see a declining trend in COVID-19 cases, East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Isawanda Laloo on Friday issued more relaxations, which will be effectuated from Saturday.
According to the directive, the DC has permitted all shops to function till 8 pm between Mondays and Saturdays.
However, restaurants, cafes, teashops, bars, takeaway services, etc, have been asked to close by 9 pm.
While salons/beauty parlors and gymnasiums have been directed to function till 8 pm, home delivery services have been permitted only during curfew relaxation hours.
