Shillong Airport scales new high

SHILLONG, Oct 12: Making a record of its own, Shillong Airport, on Tuesday, catered to 404 passengers — dubbed as the highest footfall at the airport in single day — surpassing the previous record of 395 passengers
The number of arrivals at the airport on Tuesday was 214 and the number of passengers who departed was 190.
The airport authorities also handed over the space to the Alliance Air Aviation Limited for its operations which is scheduled to begin from October 18.
