52 fresh cases, two deaths

SHILLONG, Oct 21: The state on Thursday recorded 52 fresh COVID-19 cases while two more patients succumbed to the infection taking the death toll to 1,441.
The active tally now stands at 735 while 81,034 patients have recovered so far including 76 on the day.
27 fresh cases were reported in West Khasi Hills, 19 in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri Bhoi and one each in South West Garo Hills, South West Khasi Hills, West Garo Hills and West Jaintia Hills.
