TURA, Oct 22: The West Garo Hills District Administration has declared October 25 a local Holiday on account of the occasion being the death anniversary of Meghalaya’s first Chief Minister, Late Captain W A Sangma.
All government offices, magisterial courts, educational institutions etc shall remain closed on the day, the notification in this regard by the Deputy Commissioner said.
