Enrolment
The West Garo Hills District Administration on Thursday began the Aadhaar enrolment for school students in their respective schools. West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh informed that the enrolment drive will be conducted for school and college students in camp mode.
Refresher course
A two-week refresher course for college and university teachers was organised on Wednesday by UGC-HRDC NEHU in collaboration with Department of Commerce, NEHU, Shillong. During the programme, emphasis was made on the need to educate the masses and disseminate awareness on the importance of the New Education Policy 2020.
