Cattle seized
Post Commander, BSF, BOP Umsyiem, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on October 21 around 6 am, security personnel detected suspicious movement of unknown miscreants near BP No. 1272/4-S along Indo-Bangladesh International Border, East Khasi Hills. However, when they were signalled to stop, the miscreants fled away and escaped taking advantage of the darkness. During search of the PO, BSF personnel recovered two Maruti 800 cars (ML-05D-4389 and ML-05G-2899), and seven heads of cattle.
