12 fresh cases, no death

SHILLONG, Dec 8: The state on Tuesday recorded 12 fresh cases of COVID-19 while no death was reported in the past 24 hours.
The active tally now stands at 240 while 82,916 people have recovered from the viral infection including 23 on the day. The death toll remains at 1,475.
10 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills and one each in East Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills.
