Cleaning drive
In view of the cleaning drive in Lower Lumparing to be conducted by the Dorbar Shnong from 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, there will be no entry from St John’s Church junction for the vehicles going to Dhobighar, a statement issued here said. Also, entry to Sanbor Shullai road in Lower Lumparing will not be allowed for the vehicles coming from Upper Lumparing and Dong Shiliang during the period, according to the statement.

Natl Lok Adalat
The District Legal Services Authority, Ri Bhoi, Nongpoh, will organise a National Lok Adalat on all types of cases on the premises of the office of the District & Sessions Judge, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh, from 10 AM on Saturday. All concerned have been requested to participate in the upcoming National Lok Adalat, either physically or virtually, a statement issued here said.

Cyclothon
As a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Income-tax Department, Shillong, under the aegis of the office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-tax, North Eastern Region, Guwahati, organised a Cyclothon event on Thursday. The event was flagged-off by Chief Commissioner of Income-tax, Shillong, Gunjan Prasad, in the presence of other officers stationed at Shillong from JN Sports Complex, Polo Ground. A total of 70 odd enthusiastic cyclists partook in the event en route a 10-km stretch through the beautiful cityscape.
