State reports 8 new COVID cases, 1 death

SHILLONG, Dec 24: Meghalaya on Friday reported eight fresh COVID-19 cases, 10 recoveries and one death.
With this, the state’s active COVID tally stands at 77 while the total number of deaths has increased to 1,482.
While the total recovered cases stand at 83,222, the total confirmed cases, on the other hand, have reached 84,781.
