Young Guns, Aparajita, Mawbah Strikers triumph

SHILLONG, Dec 28: Young Guns edged RS&CC by 23 runs in the first match of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Day & Night Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday.
Put in to bat first, Young Guns score 56 runs. In response, RS&CC scored 33 runs in the allotted 6 overs.
Syed Shabaz of Young Guns was adjudged the Player of Match.
In the second match, Aparajita SC took on Dare Devils.
Choosing to bat first, Aparajita scored a tricky 69 runs in 6 overs.
Dare Devils scored 56 runs in their allotted 6 overs, falling short by 13runs.
Kumar Seva of Aparajita was named the Player of the Match.
In the final match of the day, Clusters faced Mawbah Strikers.
Clusters won the toss opted to bowl first. Mawbah Strikers put on a 50 runs in 6 overs.
In closely contested game, Cluster scored 49 runs, losing by 1-run margin.
Tarique Hussain was named the Player of the Match.
