Draft electoral roll published for five Assembly Constituencies in Ri Bhoi district

Nongpoh, Jan 14: The Deputy Commissioner (Election) Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh has informed to the general public that the list of amendments to the Draft Electoral Roll for all Five Assembly Constituencies under Ri Bhoi District namely 8-Mawhati Assembly Constituency, 9-Nongpoh Assembly Constituency, 10-Jirang Assembly Constituency, 11-Umsning Assembly Constituency and 12-Umroi Assembly Constituency has been prepared with reference to January 1st, 2022 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.

A copy of the said Roll together with the said list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Election) Ri Bhoi District and at all Designated Locations (Polling Stations) within the respective Assembly Constituency

In a short meeting held at Conference Hall DC’s Office, Nongpoh today the 14th January, the Deputy Commissioner Ri Bhoi District, Smti R.M Kurbah IAS, in the presence of the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Asst. Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) handed over a copy of the same to Representatives of different Political Parties such as HSPDP, INC, PDF, NPP and others.

Meanwhile, informed to all eligible students of the district who studied outside of the state but wish to enroll themselves in the electoral roll can download the Apps- Voter Helpline and apply through www.nvsp.in
