NONGPOH, Jan 15: The Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) on Friday gave a 10-day deadline to the company tasked to collect the toll tax at the toll plaza in 20th Mile Pahamawlein to furnish a copy of trading license.
President of RBYF, 20 Mile circle, Lan Syngkli, informed media persons here that the Federation, after conducting an inspection, discerned that the new company, which has been roped in by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to collect toll tax, does not possess a trading license, which, according to the RBYF, is imperative.
“Therefore, in this regard, the Federation has decided to serve an ultimatum of 10 days to the company to furnish a copy of the trading license, failing which the Federation will not hesitate to take further stringent steps against the company,” Syngkli said.
