Unmukt Chand first Indian to play in BBL
Melbourne, Jan 18: Unmukt Chand on Tuesday became the first Indian player to play in the Big Bash League (BBL). Chand achieved the feat as he made his debut for the Melbourne Renegades against Hobart Hurricanes here at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne. Chand, 28, had called time on his playing career in India last year. He represented three IPL franchises – Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals. (ANI)

Sydney, Jan 18: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Hasnain is all set to undergo a test on his bowling action after his action was reported by umpires in the Big Bash League. ECB to look into intoxicated Eng, Aus players case
Hobart, Jan 18: The England and Wales Cricket Board has launched an investigation after footage of “intoxicated” Australian and England cricketers being asked by police to go to bed came into public domain. In mobile-phone footage published by the Sydney Morning Herald, Joe Root and James Anderson were seen with Australia players – Nathan Lyon, Travis Head and Alex Carey – all still dressed in their whites. “During the early hours of Monday morning, members of the England and Australia men’s teams shared a drink in the team areas of the hotel in Hobart,” the ECB’s statement read. “The ECB will investigate further. Until such times, we will make no further comment. (ANI)
