SHILLONG, Jan 21: Governor, Satya Pal Malik was tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday

A senior Raj Bhavan official on Friday said doctors from both NEIGRIHMS and Shillong Civil Hospital were monitoring the health of the Governor who has isolated himself.
An ambulance has been stationed inside Raj Bhavan to cater to any emergency, the official said.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
Sangma fell ill after returning from New Delhi and skipped the golden jubilee celebrations of statehood at JN Stadium.
He is said to be exhibiting mild symptoms.
