Results of art & essay competitions announced

SHILLONG, Jan 29: The results of the art and essay writing competition, which was organised by the Greater Shillong Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Birthday Celebration Committee (GSNSCBBCC), to mark the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, were declared on Saturday.
In the Group A category of art competition (classes III and IV), Rajlakshmi Banik bagged the first prize, Ayush Paul and Shruti M Das bagged the second prize, and Veerangi Sharma bagged the third prize. Similarly, in Group B category (classes V and VI), Lasarabha Kynta bagged the first prize, while Priyankshi Das and Shreyoshi Paul, and Sumit Das, Shondipa Roy and Biman Das bagged the second and third prizes respectively. In Group C category (classes VII to IX), Prosonjit Saha secured the first prize, Shreya Saha and Aditya Paul secured the second prize while Srija Sarkar, Ritamdeep Chowdhury and Shreya Dey secured the third prize. In the Group D category (class X to XII), Biraj Sutradhar bagged the first prize, while Radhika Das, and Raj Nath and Krish Paul secured the second and third prizes respectively.
Meanwhile, in the Group A category of essay writing competition (class VII to IX), Shreyashi Das secured the first prize, while Saurav Sinha and Kiran Kumar Paul secured the second and third prizes respectively. On the other hand, in the Group B (class X to XII) category, Arghadeep Ghosh bagged the first prize, Milli Devi secured the second prize and Aneesh Das secured the third prize. In the Group C (class XII and above) category, Rajdeep Biswas bagged the first prize, Tupsi Paul bagged the second prize while Susma Paul and Megha Dey bagged the third price.
