NONGPOH, Feb 2: In an unexpected occurrence, a group of miscreants on Wednesday created ruckus at the entry-exit point in Umling.
The incident took place at around 1:30 pm when four unidentified miscreants forcibly entered the facilitation centre and started troubling the visitors and the staff present there.
As per sources, the four persons, who arrived in a blue Alto playing loud music, were in an inebriated state.
Despite attempts of the security personnel, the miscreants managed to enter the centre and ill-treat the visitors and officials by shouting at them and asking them to go away. Reportedly, they even went on to manhandle a soldier, as he was waiting for his turn to get tested.
Unable to control the scene, the security personnel at the facilitation centre decided to inform the police. However, fearing consequences, the culprits fled the place soon after.
It has, however, been informed that the police have initiated investigation into the matter and all attempts are on to nab the culprits.
