SHILLONG, Feb 15: Langsning XI CC registered a 69-run victory against Meghalaya Police (MLP) in their Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match, here on Tuesday. Batting first after winning the toss, Langsning were bowled out for 154 in 39.4 overs thanks to Sanvert’s 77 that came off 110 balls. Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/20 in 6.4 overs while Gautam took 3/20. Needing a gettable 155 in 40 overs, MLP lost wickets regularly and were dismissed for only 85 in 24.1 overs with Kumar’s 39 being the higest score. Sylvestar bowled his heart out, taking 5/24 from 7 overs while Player-of-the-Match Deibormi returned excellent figures of 3/8 from his quota of 8 overs.
