SHILLONG, Feb 21: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) will hold its budget session from March 8.
KHADC Chairman Lamphrang Blah told reporters on Monday that the list of business is yet to be finalised.
To a query on whether MLAs-cum-MDCs would be able to attend the council session since the Budget session of the Assembly is scheduled to start from March 4, Blah said the KHADC session has been fixed after due consultation between the Executive Committee and the Legislative.
“I am pretty sure that concerned members who are also MLAs can manage their time to attend the session,” the KHADC chairman said.
Deputy CEM in-charge of Finance, Gigur Myrthong who is likely to present the budget for the fiscal year of 2022-2023, is the sitting MLA from Mawshynrut constituency.
