Border residents benefit off BSF’s Civic Action Programme in WGH
TURA, Feb 23: With an aim to develop the relations between local border residents and the force, the 43 Bn under BSF Meghalaya on Wednesday conducted a Civic Action Programme at Panda village in South Garo Hills. The programme, which was organised in the presence of Commandant 43 Bn BSF, Ratikant Thakur, saw the distribution of agricultural tools for the agricultural assistance of these locals. Appreciating the efforts of the force, the local population expressed their happiness and gratitude for conducting this programme, which is part of BSF’s commitment to help the needy people as well as to strengthen the relations between BSF and border population.

DLSA to conduct Lok Adalat
TURA, Feb 23: The District Legal Services Authority of South Garo Hills will hold a National Lok Adalat at the District and Sessions Court in Baghmara from 10 AM on March 12. This was informed by the Secretary of DLSA in a notification released recently.
