SHILLONG, March 20: A meeting-cum-inspection was conducted at Greater Laban Area by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai for the construction and widening of the road including interceptor provision from Laban State Dispensary till Lumkartic (Harisabha Puja Mandap) and the locality of (Late) TH Rangad, up to Wahsohkhlur Last Stop Laban, and to ensure the speedy implementation and completion of the PWD road and additional water supply scheme to entire Greater Laban Area.
The project has been sanctioned under AMRUT Scheme. A meeting-cum-inspection was also conducted at Paltan Bazar locality for construction of drain footpath, besides beautification of Greenery Children’s Park, toilet and bathroom facilities.
The Rangbah Shnong, Secretary Shnong and members of Dorbar Shnong Laban and officials of PWD, PHE and Shillong Municipal Board were also present.
