Karatekas of the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association (AMKA) led by Sensei Mingson Rymbai and Sensei Arjun Sewa as coach cum manager brought laurels to the state, winning 6 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals in the 3rd Leongthang Shotokan Karate Championship 2022 held at Deshbhakta Tarum Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium, Guwahati from April 23-24. The tournament was organised by Leongthang Shotokan Karate
Association, a unit of the Assam Karate Association affiliated to the Assam Olympic Association.
