M’laya archer to partake in 1st Khelo India NE Archery League

NONGSTOIN, May 1: Banwanbor Marweiñ of Nongstiin, in West Khasi Hills will represent Meghalaya in the 1st Khelo India North-East Archery League to be held at Sport Authority of India (SAI) Regional centre, Guwahati.
Banwanbor will be represent the Archery Association of Meghalaya and will be compete in Guwahati from May 1 in the Junior Category.
From Guwahati, he will again represent the Western Archery Sports Arts & Cultural Club (Affiliated Unit of Archery Association of Meghalaya) in the 4th Meghalaya Games which is scheduled from May 4 organized by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya at SAI, NEHU Campus.
Banwanbor is a talented archer who has represented Meghalaya at Khelo India games in New Delhi in 2018.
Earlier on Saturday, the National Peoples’ Party Nongstiin Primary Unit felicitated him before he left to participate in the two main events and hoped that he will bring laurels.
