NEW DELHI, May 9: Launching yet another offensive against the central government, Governor Satya Pal Malik alleged that the country is going to the dogs on communal lines while farmers are yet to get their promised minimum support price.
Malik said that instead of discussing vital topics like skyrocketing inflation and unemployment, the country is divided on communal agenda. He implored Hindus and Muslims to quit fighting and instead focus on unemployment and other critical concerns confronting the country.
Malik said the administration has yet to fulfil commitments made to farmers in December last year who had campaigned for a minimum support price (MSP) law.
