Financial assistance for local organisations

SHILLONG, May 15: A number of organisations and Dorbar Shnong falling under South Shillong received financial assistance to the tune of Rs 2.7 lakh which was extended by local MLA Sanbor Shullai to help them organise various welfare programme for students, youths and general public.
The beneficiaries include Dorbar Shnong Kench’s Trace, Oxford Hills & Rilbong (Rs 1 lakh), Geetali Welfare & Cultural Club, Laban (Rs 1 lakh), Blind Lead Trust (Visually Impaired) HQ Laban (Rs 50,000), and Lumparing Sarbojanin Sankirtan Committee Mynsain, Shillong (Rs 20,000).
