Youth in police net for ‘peddling drugs’

NONGSTOIN, May 18: A 24-year-old youth was on Wednesday arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) for reportedly peddling drugs.
The alleged peddler, who has been identified as Kevin Mawlot, was arrested from Pyndengrei, Dommawlein.
Police sources have informed that Kevin was the predominant supplier of heroin in Nongstoin.
Sixteen grams of suspected heroin, several strips of Nitrazepam and Rs 89,000 in cash have been recovered from his possession and subsequently confiscated, the sources informed.
