Felicitation
North Shillong Block Congress Committee, led by its working president Suk Pariat, felicitated Ankur Das for securing All India Rank (AIR) 52 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2021. In a congratulatory message, the BCC stated that Das’ feat is a source of pride for the Meghalaya and an inspiration to the youths.
Competition
Women wing of Jail Road Welfare Committee will organise sit-and-draw competitions to mark the occasion of World Environment Day 2022, at Jail Road Boys’ Higher Secondary School on June 4. According to a statement in this regard, chart papers will be provided to the participants. However, the participants have been asked to bring their own drawing materials. School identity card is compulsory for class proof. The last date of registration, on the other hand, is till 5 pm of June 2.
