Abduction bid
Rofiat Zaman lodged a complaint that on June 30, three persons, viz. Nur Alon (23), Moshaidul Sheikh (22) and Nazidur Rehman (23) attacked him and then attempted to abduct him in their vehicle near Holdibari, West Garo Hills. However, the miscreants immediately fled away after the locals intervened.

Seizure
SI RB Swer, I/c Khliehriat anti-infiltration check post lodged a complaint that on July 3 around 5.30 pm, one Maruti Swift Dzire refused to stop at Umtyra Check Point when signalled by police personnel on duty and rammed against the barricade of the check point. Later, the vehicle was found abandoned at NH-6, Byndihati village, East Jaintia Hills, and along with number plate bearing registration number AS-11T-1645, 13 cartons of illegal cigarettes were recovered from the vehicle.

Theft
Mehebu R Marak lodged a complaint on July 4 that unknown miscreants stole his scooty (AS-25G-8619) from his residential compound at Lumjingsuk Madanrting, Shillong.
Gongnak Ch Marak of Gimigree village, West Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that on July 3, unknown miscreant(s) stole her power tiller from her paddy field.
Oral Singh of Reliance Jio InfoPath lodged a complaint that on July 2, he found that unknown miscreants stole tower equipment valued around Rs 93,538 from Phudphanblei, Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills.

Missing
Ram Khelawan Sah lodged a complaint that July 3 morning, he found that his vehicle (ML-08F-8521) was missing from his residential compound at Mendipathar, North Garo Hills.
