Training
Gaurav Kumar of East Khasi Hills and Ramen Rabha of West Garo Hills will represent Meghalaya in 2nd National Judges Training Programme on Yogasana Sports in Maharashtra. A statement in this regard informed that the programme will be held from July 23 to 25.

Book launch
The departments of Zoology and Khasi of St. Anthony’s College, Shillong, will release a book Ka Lapalang Ha Ri War at 3 pm on Monday, which will be attended by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong as the chief guest. The book has been authored by Dr. Bashida Massar of Department of Zoology.

Programme
West Shillong MLA Mohendro Rapsang has stressed on the need to provide quality training to the teachers in the state. Speaking at the teachers’ training camp organised by the Meghalaya Shiksha Samiti, Shillong at the Kanchi Kamakoti School in Mawbah on Friday, the MLA said that more focus should be put on the training of teachers, especially in the contemporary times. Several teachers were also part of the programme.
