TURA, July 31: A funding drive in aid of the Christian Mission School of Nursing was organised by the A’chik Heritage Pursuits at Sakal A’duma recently.
The school, which is being built on land donated at Sakal A’duma, Sasatgre, would benefit locals of the area who currently have to rely on the Asanang CHC, a good 18 kilometres away for their medical requirements.
The school would also provide training to aspiring nurses.
A total amount of Rs 3.5 lakh was raised during the events and the same was promptly handed over to the Tura Christian Hospital.
