Inter-state boxing competition in Mawlai from August 4

Shillong, July 31: The Green Heart Boxing Club of Mawlai (GHBCOM) in collaboration with the Meghalaya Boxing Association (MBA) is set to hold the Meghalaya Open Men’s Invitational Boxing Fight Night from August 4-6 at Mawlai Mawroh Indoor Sports Hall. The organisers have also invited pugilists from four states – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland – to compete alongside the boxers from Meghalaya. The pugilists will compete in 45-48 Kg, 48-51 Kg, 54-57 Kg, 57-60 Kg, and 60-63.5 Kg weight classes.
